I was amazed! When I was a kid it was three books for kids and 6 for adults. But the librarians kindly turned a blind eye when I used my mum’s card too so I could get 9 books out and select some from the adults section 😂
It's incredible what libraries offer, this is a great list! I'm not far from you in the Wimbledon area. A visit to the British Library has been on my list for a while, you've inspired me to go sooner rather than later!
Oh I bet Wimbledon has some lovely libraries, and I’m sure they probably have loads of services and activities too. It’s seriously impressive what they manage with tiny budgets. I love the vibe of the British Library. You can almost feel the ideas and inspiration ticking over in visitors’ minds. ✨
