My non-negotiables have to be yoga, meditation, and journaling. While Zumba sounds fun, like my kind of fun, I'm a yoga gal at heart. slow to move and motivate in the mornings! 😂
Thanks for reading and sharing Lani 😁 We have a pretty similar list! I also love yoga and meditation, though I've let my journalling slip the last few months as life has been so busy. I'm definitely a slow starter too - my "morning" Zumba is at 11:30 on a Saturday 😆 my other exercise classes are in the evening, I love having yoga on Monday and Friday nights to start and end my work week!
Thanks for reading and sharing Gill 😁 I'm with you on walks by the sea, but I now live too far away for it to be a non-negotiable. I love strolling along the beach though when I go back to Northern Ireland to visit family. There's something so refreshing about the water, the waves and that salty smell, no matter the season or the weather 🌊
This is a tough question, because all forms of exercise and movements really do bring me joy. But if I had to narrow it down, I'd say that it's explosive strength training with kettlebells. Doing something that requires both a great deal of force/power and control gets me into a really good headspace. And the resulting "pump" from dynamically lifting and thrusting heavy weights is a euphoric feeling.
Hi Adam, that sounds like a great form of exercise for focus - I love exercise that I really need to concentrate on, it sure does help my headspace. Such a nice buzz too when you feel pumped after an intense workout!

Mine is walking by the sea - that gorgeous smell - especially if it's a particularly seaweedy beach.

Sea swimming every morning is my go to exercise and head clearing routine
That sounds like a fabulous way to start the day and shake all the cobwebs away!
It certainly does.
